The terms and conditions mentioned below govern your participation in the PolicyAdvisor’s Referral Program. The Referral Program is run by PolicyAdvisor Brokerage Inc. and is currently open to residents of Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, and British Columbia only. Your participation in the Referral Program shall be construed as your consent to all the terms and conditions stated herein.

Eligibility Conditions

For you to earn referral rewards, you must tag your referral in the specified PolicyAdvisor Brokerage Inc. social media post on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, OR submit your referral via email to careers@policyadvisor.com; and the Person Referred must apply for a position as an insurance advisor at PolicyAdvisor Brokerage Inc., complete required interviews, be successfully hired by the company in that role, and complete a probationary period of three (3) months. 

Eligible Referrals

The following criteria must be met in order to qualify as an Eligible Referral:

• The Person Referred is a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident and, in both cases, must be residing in either Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, or British Columbia. 
• The Person Referred is fully licensed and authorized to sell life insurance in at least one (1) of the specified provinces (Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, or British Columbia); OR the Person Referred is willing to become licensed and authorized to sell life insurance in at least one (1) of the specified provinces. 
• The Person Referred informs PolicyAdvisor Brokerage Inc. of the referral by the Referrer at the time of initiation of the application process.
• The Person Referred is not already employed by PolicyAdvisor Brokerage Inc. and has not already been contacted by PolicyAdvisor Brokerage Inc.’s Human Resources Personnel. 
• The Person Referred was not previously employed by PolicyAdvisor Brokerage Inc. 
• The Person Referred was not referred to PolicyAdvisor Brokerage Inc. previously by another person.
• The Referrer has not already received the maximum amount of rewards for successfully referring others. 

Rewards

A one-time reward of a $500 Amazon.ca Gift Card is payable for an Eligible Referral. A Referrer may only receive one (1) reward per Eligible Referral, for a maximum of two (2) reward payouts, irrespective of the number of referrals made by the Referrer. A referral reward payout is made to the Referrer after three (3) months and on the condition that the referral is eligible, the Referred Person has successfully completed a probationary period, and the Referred Person is still employed with PolicyAdvisor Brokerage Inc. at the time of the referral reward payout.

Taxes & Fees

All applicable taxes & fees, if any, will be the Referrer’s responsibility at all times. Gift cards cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash.

Activities Prohibited

PolicyAdvisor Brokerage Inc.’s Referral Program cannot be used by businesses, recruiters, headhunters, independent insurance agents, or otherwise for lead generation or to identify potential candidates. Eligibility is limited to individuals only. The following are prohibited:

• Referring someone more than once.
• Referring yourself.
• Encouraging people to submit inaccurate information to receive a cash reward. 
• Paying someone to apply for a position for the sole purpose of claiming a cash reward.
• Creating multiple or fake accounts and/or using bulk distribution or spam email.

Right to Cancel or Modify Referral Program

PolicyAdvisor Brokerage Inc. reserves the right to cancel or suspend the Referral Program at any time or to change these Terms & Conditions at any time at its sole discretion. Any unclaimed referral rewards will be forfeited at that time.

Update to these Terms and Conditions

PolicyAdvisor Brokerage Inc. reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
