The terms and conditions mentioned herein below govern your participation in the PolicyAdvisor’s Referral Program.The Referral Program is run by PolicyAdvisor Brokerage Inc. and is currently open to residents of Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, or British Columbia only. Your participation in the Referral Program shall be construed as your consent to all the terms and conditions stated herein.

Eligible Application

For you to earn referral rewards, your referral must create an account on our website, initiate an insurance application, and receive and settle their application with the assistance of our licensed advisors. Only life insurance, critical illness insurance, or disability insurance policies are eligible for the referral program. Travel insurance and health insurance policies are not eligible.

Each eligible referral will only be eligible for one reward to the referrer.

Eligible referral

The following conditions must be met for purposes of qualifying as an Eligible Referral:

• The Person Referred is a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident and, in both cases, must be residing in either Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, or British Columbia.
• The Person Referred informs PolicyAdvisor of the referral by the Referrer at the time of initiation of the application process
• The Person Referred is not already in the process of obtaining a life, critical illness, or disability insurance policy with PolicyAdvisor
• The Person Referred was not referred to PolicyAdvisor previously by another person
• The Referrer has not already made 10 Eligible Referrals previously
• The Person Referred cannot have the same postal address or telephone number as the Referrer – such as their spouse or child
• The Referrer must have a pre-existing relationship with the Person Referred

Each eligible referral lead who becomes a customer of PolicyAdvisor will equate to one reward for the referrer.

Rewards/ Gift Vouchers

Rewards are payable in e-gift vouchers. The maximum Referrals earned may be no more than 10 Eligible Referrals. A Referral payouts can take up to 30 business days from the submission of insurance application to receive. PolicyAdvisor.com is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards.

Taxes & Fees

All the applicable taxes & fees, if any will be Referral’s responsibility at all the time. Gift cards can not be redeemed for cash.

Activities Prohibited

PolicyAdvisor’s Referral Program cannot be used by businesses for any lead generation. Eligibility is limited to individuals only. The following are prohibited:

• Referring a person more than once
• Referring yourself
• You as a Referrer have not and shall not engage in any insurance activities with the Person Referred, including but not limited to, discussing insurance terms and conditions, or engaging in the sale or negotiation of insurance.
• Encouraging people to submit inaccurate information to receive a policy
• Paying someone to create an account & applying for Insurance policy
• Creating multiple or fake accounts & using bulk distribution or spam email

Right to Cancel or Modify Referral Program

PolicyAdvisor reserves the right to cancel or suspend the Referral Program at any time or to change these Terms & Conditions at any time in its sole discretion. Any unclaimed referral rewards will be forfeited at that time.

Update to these Terms and Conditions

PolicyAdvisor reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
